A 500 years old Message

My husband points to a Polish inscription on an ancient wall. I struggle to translate for him, for this is Old Polish, the words of a renaissance scholar and humanist from the 16th century. I do my best: "Keep peace with all your neighbours and there will be no need for war". Here it is, a message some 500 years old, but one yet to be discovered by today's world leaders.
