In old Swedish films and books, especially in Astrid Lindgren's[*] books, there is always a sign in the shape of a jumble hanging over the town's bakery. There certainly was in the little town where I grew up, and at school we used to sing a children's song about the town confectioner. These old-fashioned jumbles are the Swedish answer to Italian biscotti, and i often bake a batch to take along to meetings at work. Perfect with a caffè latte.
