Creamed Kale

My family comes from Skåne, the southernmost province of Sweden, where it's traditional to have browned cabbage as part of the Christmas buffet, but we have always had this creamed kale from the neighbouring province of Halland as well. The kale makes a nice contrast to all the salty, fatty Christmas food. I buy the beautiful kale fronds after the first frosts, and then it's time to strip the kale from its stalks, rinse it, boil it and chop it for all I'm worth.
