Wellington boots
Imagine having a boot named after you and two hundred years later, it's still totally en vogue. That's exactly what happened to the Duke of Wellington, who had no idea when he asked his shoemaker to construct a sturdy knee-high boot that in the 21st century, hundreds of thousands of girls at festivals around the world would still be wearing his namesake design, only now with tiny denium shorts instead of his preferred attire, jodhpurs.
